The mission of The Martinez Foundation is to improve teacher diversity and the retention of teachers of color in Washington State. We seek to accomplish this by providing scholarships, mentoring, and ongoing professional development. We are the only organization in the country whose mission is to improve teacher diversity and support teachers of color in their profession.
